A Note From KVMR's General Manager

Meet KVMR

When the days grow longer and the blossoms of Spring flaunt their colors-well, it's a sure sign that KVMR's outreach crew is bracing for another ambitious season of events. We are given the opportunity to meet many of you and greet new friends too. In fact, our KVMR team adorned a float at this year'sOld Sacramento St. Patrick's Day Festival-our outreach table graced the Whole Earth Festival in Davis and the North Lake Tahoe/Truckee Earth Day Festival.

While our volunteers, broadcasters and staff enjoy attending these events, we do it for a lot of reasons: we want you to know about KVMR, 89.5, Community Radio- who we are, what we do, how we serve your needs and how you can get involved. Most importantly, it gives us the opportunity to hear your feedback-that's how we determine direction. After all, we're here to serve you, the listeners. It's also great to meet folks that have never had the opportunity to listen to KVMR. Inmost cases, these folks leave with a smile, a bumper sticker, a Listeners' Guide and the excitement of knowing that there is this really cool radio station they just discovered.
