Amanda began her radio career at KVMR 30 years ago and has wound her way back, once again.  In 1987, as the technology boom took off she moved to the Bay Area and expanded her knowledge of computers, software and marketing by taking a job at a third-party Apple software company.  Then in 1992, she moved back to Nevada City and again joined the staff at KVMR.  She also took a position at Sacramento radio stations KSFM 102.5  and KSMJ 1380AM and started her journey into commercial radio.  After 5 years, she moved back to the Bay Area before moving to Atlanta, Georgia and working at both a technology company and WKLS, Atlanta’s 96 Rock where she spent two years on the air.  Two years later, she made her way back across the country to Nevada City where she worked at a high-end web and print design firm for two years before embarking on her own marketing consulting business.
