Mr. Barco

Mr. Barco has been a broadcaster since 1988. For two years he hosted "The Midnight Orbit", a 4 hour program of New Age Space Music. Due to work schedule changes, he took two years off from broadcasting, and when he was moved to return in 1992, he was able to take on a 1am to 7am slot with "Mr. Barco's All Nite Café." Heavy on music from Bob Dylan, the program could be found to move thru folk ,rock and roll, blues, reggae, jazz, Native American and world music genres, and often into the weird and wonderful. For many of those years he ended the show with a half hour of music geared for kids of all ages on the "The Kids Menu"

Mr. Barco has now moved to Saturday evening hours with a show focused primarily on the music of Bob Dylan. He will occasionally be bringing in some variety to the program, as he says: "There is just so much great music to put together into a program."

Referring to the title of his program, "Jewels And Binoculars", Mr. Barco states that " the Jewels are the songs themselves and sets of music that shine, and have some value. The Binoculars are thru which we look at some things up close, and provide vision, either back in time, into the future, or simply here and now."
